Neolithico Held on the Road

Neolithico Machrie’s struggles in the World League continued this week as they were held to a 1–1 draw away to Malik.

A point on the road can never be sniffed at, but if Neo are to keep their hopes of securing a World Cup place alive, improved results will be required.

There is still plenty of football to be played, although the uneven number of matches completed across the league has left the table looking somewhat confusing. The club remains confident that the authorities will explain when - or indeed whether - it will all even itself out in due course.

Next week, Neolithico return home to the Cursus, where they will face Pototoes.
