Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Title Rivals, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use of the game constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Title Rivals is operated by Hoti Studio LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom (referred to in these Terms as "we", "us", or "the Operator"). It is provided free of charge.

2. Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide a valid email address when registering.
• You may have multiple accounts, but you may not use them to gain an unfair advantage in the same league (e.g. managing two clubs in the same competition).
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Social features, including friend requests, private messages, league chat, and publishing articles or comments, are only available to players aged 16 or over, in line with UK online safety rules. Younger players keep full access to the rest of the game: matches, tactics, leagues, challenges, and rankings.

You must provide your real date of birth when asked. It is used only for these age checks, it is never shown to other players, and it cannot be changed after it has been set. If you entered it incorrectly, contact us through Help & Support.

3. Fair Play

Title Rivals is a competitive game and fair play is essential. You agree not to:

• Use cheats, automation tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the game.
• Exploit bugs or glitches. If you discover a bug, please report it to the administrators.
• Collude with other managers to manipulate match results, transfers, or league standings.
• Intentionally lose matches or otherwise undermine the integrity of a league.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the game's servers or match engine.

4. Conduct

When communicating with other managers via chat, articles, comments, or messages, you agree not to:

• Use profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language of any kind.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other players.
• Post spam, advertising, or irrelevant content.
• Impersonate administrators or other players.
• Share personal information about other players without their consent.
• Send repeated unwanted friend requests or direct messages, or attempt to get around another player blocking you.

5. User Content

You are responsible for all content you create within the game, including but not limited to club names, stadium names, league names, profile pictures, articles, comments, and chat messages. Content must not:

• Contain profanity or offensive language.
• Be sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Infringe on any third party's intellectual property or rights.
• Contain real names or trademarks of football clubs, players, or organisations without authorisation.

If you upload a profile picture, you confirm you own it or have permission to use it, and you grant us a licence to display it within Title Rivals. Profile pictures are automatically screened for unsafe content and may be rejected or removed.

Administrators reserve the right to rename, edit, or remove any user-generated content that violates these terms.

6. Virtual Currency (Rivs)

• Rivs is a virtual in-game currency with no real-world monetary value.
• Rivs cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real money or any items of value outside the game.
• Rivs balances may be adjusted by administrators to maintain game balance.
• Any attempt to buy, sell, or trade Rivs or in-game assets for real money is strictly prohibited.

7. Account Termination

Administrators may, at their sole discretion:

• Warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms.
• Remove content that is deemed inappropriate or harmful.
• Delete inactive accounts after an extended period of inactivity.

If your account is terminated for a violation, you will not be entitled to any refund or compensation for lost in-game progress or currency.

8. Privacy

• We collect your email address and username for account purposes.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• Game activity (matches, transfers, messages) is logged for moderation and game integrity purposes. Title Rivals staff may review messages, including private league chat, to investigate abuse reports.
• Direct messages between friends are private to the participants. Reported messages may be reviewed by staff to investigate abuse. You can block another manager at any time from their profile.
• Your manager name, club name, and aggregate match statistics are shown on public ranking pages by default, so visitors and search engines can read them without an account. You can turn this off at any time from the Profile tab in your account settings.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting an administrator.

9. Service Availability and Liability

Title Rivals is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the game and may perform maintenance, updates, or changes at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, progress, or in-game currency resulting from downtime or technical issues, nor for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for matters that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Title Rivals is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer based in another part of the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you may have additional rights under your local law that cannot be limited by these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through an in-game announcement. Your continued use of Title Rivals after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
