Managerial Genius

In an article published in the club newsletter today, Hermetica F.C. manager Hermes Trismegistus has proclaimed himself to be "The greatest football manager to have ever lived!" Probed on what has prompted him to make this outlandish statement, after only one game in charge and one loss, Trismegistus had this to say.

"Go and have a look at the league table you morons. After one game we have moved from Division 13 all the way to Division 5. That's 8 promotions in one swoop, no other manager in the history of the game has ever done this! I will be expecting a call from the Chairman later today, offering me a new and hugely improved contract."
