How to Play

Staff

In a nutshell

Your backroom staff quietly run the club. Coaches develop players, physios heal injuries, psychologists fix attitudes, and your Head of Youth and scouts feed the academy. Better staff cost a bigger weekly wage.

Who does what

Coaches

teach players a new positive trait and run form training. A coach specialises in one position area (goalkeeping, defence, midfield or attack). More stars let a coach train more players at once and get the work done faster.

Psychologists

work on a player's mentality, removing a negative trait (or inflicting one). Stars set how quickly the work gets done.

Physios

cut injury recovery time across the whole squad just by being on staff. Assign one to an injured player to bring them back even sooner, with no extra fee.

Head of Youth & scouts

drive your academy: a better Head of Youth lifts the quality of every prospect, and each scout adds a scouting slot.

Wages

Wages are real

Every staff member is paid a weekly wage, charged automatically around midday each Monday, after your weekly pay is ready to claim. A new hire's first week is free, their wage only starts the following Monday. If you can't cover the bill, your highest-paid staff are let go first until the rest is affordable. Hire only what you can sustain.

Example: You sign a midfield coach to teach a young playmaker the Intelligent trait, and a psychologist to coach the Diva trait out of your star striker. Both run as sessions in the Training Centre while their wages tick over each week.

What to do

Hire a coach for the area you most want to develop, add a physio once injuries start to bite, and bring in a psychologist when a player's bad trait is costing you. Manage everyone from the Staff page.
