About

Founded in 1858 by workers of the Anaxes Steel Company, BC Union Anaxes represents the foundry district and working families of Anaxes. Built on faith, family, labour, order and hard defensive football, BUA became a national power in the 1960s with five consecutive titles. After two decades of financial decline, a new generation of owners restored the club in 2026, appointed Mitchell Smith and entered the World League. The Meleenimen now expect the club to reclaim its place in the top tiers.
